DAY 1 - SATURDAY
ARRIVAL IN DELHI
Upon arrival in India’s capital city Delhi, you will be welcomed and assisted by our local representative. Later transfer to hotel (Check in time after 12 Noon). Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2 - SUNDAY
DELHI - AGRA
Your morning tour of New and Old Delhi will take you to the historical sites of Qutub Minar, a world’s tallest 237 feet high 12th century brick minaret; drive past Parliament House, President House, India Gate, Chandi Chowk (the oldest Bazaar in Delhi dating back to Mughal period). Visit Raj Ghat, the national memorial of the father of the nation ‘Mahatma Gandhi’. Marvel at the Red Fort, built in the 17th century in red sandstone by builder of Taj Mahal, Emperor Shahjehan. Later in the afternoon drive to Agra for approximately 4-5 hours. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3 - MONDAY
AGRA -JHANSI - KHAJURAHO
Early morning, transfer to train station in Agra to board your air-conditioned train to Jhansi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred by chauffeur driven car/coach to Khajuraho. After approximately four hours of drive, you will arrive at your hotel in Khajuraho. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4 - TUESDAY
KHAJURAHO
Enjoy this day with sightseeing tour of Khajuraho, once a religious and political capital of the Chandela dynasty who ruled Central India between 9th and 13th century. Its major tourist attractions are the temples depicting erotic sculptures and figurines. The temples are divided into eastern and Western temples and boasts of Chandela art. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 5 - WEDNESDAY
KHAJURAHO - JHANSI - AGRA
Today you will be transferred to Jhansi train station by chauffeur driven car/coach. Upon arrival, board your air-conditioned train to Agra. Arrive Agra in the evening and transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 6 - THURSDAY
AGRA - JAIPUR
This morning, visit the magnificent white marbled Taj Mahal built in 1653 by Moghul emperor Shahjehan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Semi precious stones are intricately inlaid into the marbles in various patterns showing an impressive craftsmanship. Other important monument is Agra Fort with its Moti Masjid (Pearl Mosque), Dewan-e-Aam, Dewan-e-Khas, octagonal tower, Jehangir Palace - famous for its Hindu Persian architectural style. Continue drive to Jaipur by chauffeur driven car/coach to Jaipur, the famed “Pink City” of India. Upon arrival in the evening, check in and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 7 - FRIDAY
JAIPUR
In the morning enjoy half day tour of Jaipur city visiting Hawa Mahal, the palace of winds, Jantar Mantar, an observatory built in the 18th century, the City Palace a magnificent Rajasthani architecture. Stroll leisurely in the bustling bazaars of Jaipur or take an optional tour to Amber fort and elephant ride. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 8 - SATURDAY
DELHI - ONWARD JOURNEY
This morning, depart Jaipur for Delhi by chauffeur driven car/coach. Arrive late in the afternoon and transfer to airport for your onward destination OR you may take optional extension tours to some of the other exotic destinations in India.
