Day 01 CAIRO
Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel (check-in time after 12 noon).
Day 02 CAIRO LUXOR
In the morning, visit the famous Egyptian museum which features artifacts from Pharaonic period including one of the world’s biggest discoveries of Tutankhamen’s Treasury buried in the tomb for 3,500 year. Later, transfer to airport for flight to Luxor. In, the afternoon transfer to airport for flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, transfer to your cruise ship for four nights cruise over river Nile.
Day 03 LUXOR
After lunch on board the ship, proceed on a tour of Luxor’s east bank. Luxor is the world’s greatest open-air museum boasting of ancient Egyptian monuments and civilization. Located on the East bank of Nile River are the temples of Luxor and Karnak. The temple of Luxor is mainly built by two kings, Amenophis III & Ramses II.
Day 04 LUXOR - ESNA - EDFU
After breakfast on board, you will visit the west bank of Nile River. Visit the Valley of the Kings, the magnificence of the grandeur of architecture which was used for burial of the Kings. The most known tombs are King Tutumosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramses VI, King Mrenptah and Amonhotep II. Continue drive to the Valley of Queens is also known as Biban al Harim and Ta Set Neferu, which means “seat of beauty”. Visit the tomb of Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (1490-1469 B.C), the only Pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt. In the evening return to your ship to sail to Esna.
Day 05 EDFU - KOM OMBO - ASWAN
After breakfast on board the ship, you will be taken to visit the temple of Horus in Edfu. The temple of Horus is considered one of the best preserved constructions, built in three stages. Continue sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the temple shared by Two Goddess Sobek and Haroeis in Kom Ombo.
Day 06 ASWAN - ABU SIMBEL
In the morning check out and disembark from the ship. Proceed on a city tour of Aswan to see the High Dam, an engineering miracle built in 1960 protecting Egypt from annual floods from the Nile. Visit the unfinished Obelisk and the famous Philae temple which was built in honor of Goddess Isis, the chief deity of the island. In the afternoon we drive to Abu Simbel (4-5 hours drive). Arrive Abu Simbel and check in at the hotel. In the evening witness the famous Sound and Light show at Abu Simbel which will take you back to the times of the pharaohs.
Day 07 ABU SIMBEL
After breakfast, proceed on the city tour of Abu Simbel. The two temples of Abu Simbel is dedicated was dedicated to the four universal Gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re and to Ramses II himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God.
Day 08 ABU SIMBEL - ASWAN - CAIRO
In the morning we will drive back to Aswan airport to fly to Cairo. Arrive Cairo and transfer to hotel.
Day 09 CAIRO
Today, enjoy an excursion to the wonder of the world-The Great Pyramids at Giza and the Great Sphinx, the head of a Pharaoh with Lion’s body. In the evening, enjoy the Sound and Light show at the Pyramids depicting its history.
Day 10 CAIRO
Full day free in Cairo to go to Khan-e-Khakili market or explore the city and the also visit Old Cairo where you see the Hanging Church, Abu Sirga and Synagogue. In the evening enjoy the dinner cruise on the Nile River.
Day 11 CAIRO - AMMAN - PETRA
After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Amman- the capital of Jordan. Arrive in Amman and transfer south to wonder of the world archaeological site of Petra. Arrive Petra and check in at your hotel.
Day 12 PETRA - AMMAN
This morning visit the ruins of Petra through the Siq, a narrow gorge flanked by huge cliffs. Petra is a historic and archaeological city. It has been chosen as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2007 and a World Heritage Site since 1985. Later, in the evening drive back to Amman. Arrive Amman and check in at the hotel.
Day 13 AMMAN
A full day tour of Amman will include visit to Jerash considered one of the largest and most well-preserved sites of Roman architecture in the world outside Italy. Its colonnaded streets, baths, theaters, plazas and arches remain in good condition. The archaeologists have found the ruins from the Neolithic Age.
Day 14 AMMAN
Morning is free to relax or for last minute shopping etc. After check out of the hotel in the morning, proceed on a city tour of Amman where you'll visit the major historical sites, including the Roman amphitheatre, Archaeological Museum, and the ruins of the Temple of Hercules. Enjoy the traditional Jordanian cultural show and farewell dinner at a local restaurant. After dinner, transfer to airport for flight for your onward journey.
Day 15 AMMAN - ONWARD JOURNEY
Fly to your onward destination.
