This evening depart from our gateway airport Miami aboard our non stop scheduled airline to Rio De Janeiro.
Aug 07: Rio De Janeiro
This morning arrive Rio De Janeiro and transfer to hotel JW Marriott. Rest of the afternoon free to explore the at the Copacabana and Ipanema beach. In the evening enjoy Typical Churrascaria Brazilian dinner and Samba dance show. Overnight at the hotel.
Aug 08: Rio De Janeiro
Full day tour of Rio. Drive through the fashionable Barra district. Then depart towards the base of Corcovado Mountain for a short train ride to the summit. Here at 2,400 feet above the city stands one of the modern wonder of the world, a 125 feet statue of Christ the Redeemer. A cable car takes you to the top of the Sugar Loaf Mountain for a panoramic view of the beaches and Guanabara Bay. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Aug 09: Rio De Janeiro Iguassu
Transfer to airport for flight to Iguassu Falls (Brazilian side). Arrive and transfer to Iguassu Golf Resort. Later proceed for the tour of Iguassu falls. One of the world’s natural wonders, Iguassu falls consists of over 275 separate cataracts across a span of two and half miles wider than Victoria Falls. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Aug: 10 Iguassu Falls
After breakfast drive to Argentine border to cross over to Iguassu falls on the Argentine side. Transfer to hotel Sheraton. Later visit Iguassu falls from the Argentine side. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Aug 11: Iguassu Buenos Aires
Transfer to airport for flight to Buenos Aires. Arrive Buenos Aires and transfer to hotel Intercontinental. Evening special Tango dance and dinner at a typical Argentine restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Aug 12: Buenos Aires
Full day city tour of Buenos Aires. Built in the 19th century era of plenty of the wealthy Gauchos (cowboys) land barons in Argentina, this city rivals the architecture and sophistication of Paris. Visit the most famous architectural monuments and the world’s widest boulevard. Pass by the colonial Italian Boca District, the cathedral and the tomb of General Jose De San Martin. Indian dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Aug 13: Buenos Aires
Full day tour of Estancia. Estancias, or ranches, play a huge part in Argentina's culture and economy. Estancias also give tourists the rare opportunity to stay as a guest at a working estancia in order to experience the unique gaucho ranch culture in a tranquil and beautiful setting of untamed countryside. Most estancias are over two hundred years old and still maintain traditional practices and values. Gauchos, much like the American Cowboy, have become a national icon, their lives retold in stories and legends. Today they are still very much an integral part of the working estancia. Also like the cowboy, gauchos have excellent horsemanship. It is typical to see a taming or a horse show on a daily basis as well as out in the fields during the cattle drives. Dinner at local Indian restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Aug 14: Buenos Aires Lima
Transfer to airport for flight to Lima. Arrive Lima and transfer to hotel Marriott.
Afternoon city tour of Lima- also known as the city of Kings. Lima is long considered the colonial capital of South America. It is a thriving city of some 8 million inhabitants. The historic downtown area has been declared a world heritage site by United Nations. Enjoy the visit to Lima’s principal attractions: The Plaza de Aramas, Government Palace, The Cathedral etc. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Aug 15: Lima Cusco
Transfer to airport for flight to Cusco located at an altitude of around 12,000 feet above the sea level. Arrive Cusco and transfer to hotel San Antonio. Rest of the day free to adjust and acclimatize to change in altitude. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Aug 16: Cusco Sacred Valley
Drive to Sacred Valley by private air-conditioned motor coach. Arrive at Sacred Valley in the afternoon and transfer to hotel Sol Y Luna. After proceed on city tour of Sacred Valley. The Sacred Valley of the Incas was undoubtedly a key area of settlement to the Incas. Its agreeable climate and fertile plains make a rare and fruitful combination for the high Andes. The tour includes a visit to the market at Pisac, a stop for lunch in Urubamba, a visit to the beautiful Inca village and fortress of Ollantaytambo and a quick stop at the quechua village of Chinchero. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Aug 17: Sacred Valley Machu Pichu
After breakfast you will be driven to Ollantaytambo station to board the panoramic vista dome train to Machu Pichu (approximately two hours train journey). Arrive Machu Pichu and proceed on sight seeing tour of Machu Pichu. This is a trip to the “Lost City of the Incas”, Machu Picchu, a unique, magical and mystic place. You will be amazed by the majestic and perfection of this Inca legacy. The Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1983, was hidden at the end of the Andes and the beginning of the Amazon Basin until 1911, when the American explorer Hiram Bingham discovered it. In Quechua language, Machu Picchu means “Old Mountain”. Located at the top of a mountain, Machu Picchu is a colossal masterpiece of architecture and engineering, one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Later in the evening return back by train to Sacred Valley. Dinner and overnight at the hotel Sol Y Luna.
Aug 18: Sacred Valley Cusco
In the morning visit some more Inca ruins in the sacred valley area and later in the afternoon, drive back to Cusco. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Aug 19: Cusco
Full day tour of Cusco – a city that blends Spanish colonial charm with older, more asture remains of Pre-Colombian glory. It has the finest examples of Inca history and architecture. Visit the Main Square, the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha. Then, we drive out of the City to visit the Inca sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, strategically built on a hill overlooking Cusco, famous for its enormous carved stones, some of them standing over 9 m / 30 ft high and weighing over 350 tons. In the evening enjoy a typical Peruvian dinner and folklore show at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Aug 20: Cusco Lima Miami
Morning free to explore this ancient Inca city at your own pace. Transfer to airport for flight to Lima in the afternoon. Arrive Lima and proceed for farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Thereafter transfer to airport for flight to Miami.
Aug 21: Arrive Miami
Arrive early morning in Miami with fond memories of your trip to Brazil, Argentina and Peru.

If you book and pay the deposit before October 31, 2009, you will receive an “EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT” of US $ 200 per person on the total tour cost.
What is Not Included
Tips, Visa fee, any airport taxes/fuel surcharges as levied by the airline, Travel Insurance, excess Baggage, Any airport taxes, Mineral water, Alcohol, items of personal nature such as laundry, telephone, room service, any increase in airfare or government imposed taxes, any other items not mentioned in the tour inclusion list.
Advance Payment
We require advance deposit of US $ 500.00 per person. The balance payment will be due at least 90 days prior to departure.

Cancellation and Refund
An administrative fee of US $ 500 per person will be charged for any cancellation made once the tour is booked. A 25 % cancellation penalty will be charged if the bookings are cancelled between 90-30 days prior to departure. A 50% cancellation fee will be charged if the bookings are cancelled between 30-03 days prior to departure. For later cancellation or for unutilized services no refund will be permissible. Passenger must make all cancellations in writing and refund generally takes 6-8 weeks.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that you obtain a comprehensive Travel Insurance including but not limited trip cancellation, delay, loss of deposit, medical expenses, personal accidents and death, loss of baggage, personal belongings. Most Travel Insurance requires you to buy insurance at the time of making your tour deposit.
Travel Document and Visa
A valid passport is required to travel to Brazil, Argentina and Peru. All US Passport holders must obtain Brazilian visa.

You may feel altitude sickness and usually will get acclimatized within 24 hours. However, you are requested to consult with your physician regarding all matters pertaining to your health. All passengers are personally responsible to ensure that they are medically fit to travel.

Pollina Tours & Travel, Inc. and/or their agents give notice that all tickets, vouchers and the coupons issued by them and all arrangements for transportation or for conveyance/hotel accommodation made by them as AGENTS of the passenger upon the express condition that they shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss , accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason or defect of any vehicle, or through the act or default of any person or company engaged in conveying or housing the passengers or in connection therewith, or any of hotel proprietor or employee. The operator/ or their agents can accept no responsibility for losses or incidental expenses due to delay or change in schedule, hotel overbooking or default , sickness, death, weather, quarantine or other causes. All such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the passengers. Baggage is at owner’s risk throughout the tour. Pollina Tours & Travel reserves the right to accept or reject any person as tour participants, to expel any tour participants from the tour, to make changes in the itinerary whenever the company deems it is necessary for comfort, safety and convenience of the participants of their Travel Agents. All prices are quoted in US Dollars and are subject to change without notice. The transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or events during the time passengers are not on board their carriers and conveyance.
